Who is Kate?

Hi, I'm Kate!

I've lived in Iowa my whole life, so naturally, I love comfort food and Crock Pots. 

I have a serious passion for family dinners around the table, great food, great conversation (over great food of course) and sharing my recipes with anyone who will listen. The easier the recipe, and the better it smells, virtual high five to 'ya!  

I learned early on (while working in a full-time corporate job outside the home) that my only hope for survival with a family and job was to plan meals ahead of time that my family liked and were easy to make, easy to prepare and equally easy on the budget.  

The bottom line?  

I'm here to make sure that planning realistic dinners comes second nature to you, your house smells delicious when you walk in the door after a long day, and that your family LOVES what you put on the table. :)
